During the 4 years I’ve trained and worked out with Brooke, she has patiently listened to my woes about my compromised, weakened back and core, and guided me along a journey to strength and core fitness. This journey sometimes had setbacks due to (back) injury, and during these times Brooke would modify my routine, being mindful to my spine, yet still mindfully encouraging me to continue my workout, even if only doing floor or arm exercises. To her/us, this is a journey for life fitness.
Brooke is one of the best fitness trainers I’ve ever known. She looks at overall fitness – weight, muscle, core, diet, mindset, routine. Mind, body, spirit.
I’ve worked out with Brooke both in a gym setting and in a virtual home setting. Brooke is consistent regardless of setting. She’s very creative about incorporating tools and props to maximize a workout. When in the gym she would (also) use a buddy system to incorporate ‘counter weights’ and to encourage participation in ‘giving it your all’. Brooke is a pro at making it fun and lively.

I have been fortunate to have Brooke as my personal trainer for the past several years in the gym and virtually. Brooke is very kind and easy to talk to and I always look forward to our training sessions. She incorporates a good mix of exercises so sessions never get repetitive and modifications are provided if a particular exercise is too easy or too difficult. She is very encouraging and pushes me to challenge myself in order to get stronger.
I worked out with Brooke throughout my pregnancy and trusted that she would have me do exercises that were safe and accommodating to my growing belly. She would always make sure I was feeling ok during the exercises. We also went over exercises to help with birth and recovery. My recovery time would have most likely been longer without my sessions with Brooke. Post-partum we spent several sessions focused on getting my core back to what it used to be. Once that was improving, I went back to my regular sessions. After having a baby, I felt like I was the most out of shape I had been in years. I was afraid it would take a long time to get my body back to what it was pre-pregnancy, but after just a few sessions post-partum my body began feeling better and more toned. I cannot say enough great things about Brooke and what it is like to work with her and have her on your team in the fitness and health journey. For one, Brooke has an amazing and contagious good energy about her. She is always smiling and even when she is counting down the reps for you, her positivity radiates and makes you feel like you can do it, even with the burn. Not only did I feel good and awesomely sore the next day after working out with her, I always left a session feeling better than when I came in. What I also loved about training with Brooke was the perfect balance in what felt like a push, yet also doable, and I loved feeling the good work I did the next day. I’ve been working with Brooke for about 6months now. We originally started our sessions in preparation for my wedding but have continued training even after my big day. Brooke is constantly surprising and challenging me.
For years I was jumping class to class, from Pilates to Yoga, from the weight room to another class etc. Since COVID hit it was hard to reach my traditional methods, so I figured let’s take the home workouts up a bit and work with a trainer. I had already been following Brooke on Instagram so I figured I’d reach out and get some advice. I have not been disappointed with my decision to do so. Her breadth of knowledge is impressive, she has a great sense of humor and has encouraged me to be a stronger version of me all around. She takes the time to carefully coordinate a workout plan that is tailored to me and my goals.
